Darkshadow v1.2 Free Joomla Template now available

I'm happy to announce that the latest update for the Darkshadow Joomla 1.0.x Template has been uploaded to the downloads section and is now available for free to all our members and guests.
This latest release brings us up to Darkshadow Version 1.2 - At first glance you might not notice any major differences from the previous update, but if you look under the hood there has been a lot of improvements, refinements with much more cleaner & efficient code and some images have also been updated to match the new module sizes.
Hello there, it's me again. Seems it's been a little quiet around here and we've had no new XSI Tech Joomla templates for awhile now.
Well it's a good time to get things rolling again in the free template dept. There are a whole heap of templates ready to go, but hey what's the rush. I like things to be near perfect as possible before I throw them out for everyone to use and sometimes find it hard to decide when a template is really finished.
Now in case you didn't notice yet, or have just visited XSI Tech for the first time, the site design has changed slightly, I hope it's better, I still can't decide.. Hope I didn't just waste my time. I made this new template and called itOrion, after that awesome Orion Nebula background picture up top that I shot back in the days when I worked for NASA. ;)
Hi there, today I have updated the Darkshadow template in the downloads section.
This minor update fixes two broken images in the footer of the template, plus a change for the template name in the xml setup file to try and simplify things a little.
Apparently I went and changed the template name in the Joomla .xml file before packaging it all up, and this change broke two file paths for the footer images which were set in the index.php file.
So please download and reinstall the Darkshadow V1 template. It now has a new shorter name, just "Darkshadow" instead of XS-darkshadow-v1. Don't forget that once it's installed you'll need to go back into the Joomla template manager to make it the new default template once more and remove the old one.
No other settings will be affected on your site after changing the template over to the new version..
